A cancer diagnosis brings urgency, jargon, and too many unanswered questions. CancerInsight exists to make the next step clearer: what your diagnosis means, which treatments are standard, where clinical trials are recruiting, and how to reach centers that specialize in your cancer type.

What we do

We combine three things patients tell us they need most:

• Clear, evidence-based information for major US cancer types — survival statistics, staging, treatments, and FAQs written for patients and caregivers, not clinicians.
• Live clinical trial matching powered by ClinicalTrials.gov open data, so you can see recruiting studies related to your diagnosis.
• Free patient navigation — a real person who listens, helps you prepare questions for your oncology team, and can connect you with hospitals experienced in your cancer type.

Where our data comes from

Statistics and epidemiology on this site are drawn primarily from the National Cancer Institute’s SEER Program. Clinical trial listings come from ClinicalTrials.gov. Research articles cite peer-reviewed journals (including the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, and Journal of Clinical Oncology) with source links for every claim that depends on a specific study.

Who we serve

Our primary audience is people in the United States living with cancer, and the family members and caregivers supporting them. Content is written in plain English. We do not replace your oncologist, and we do not diagnose or prescribe treatment.

Editorial standards
